Everspin Technologies was declared the winner of a strategic award to create a long-term strategy for offering manufacturing services to the defense and aerospace industries. Everspin will submit a plan to reduce risks to its supply chain for MRAM manufacture as part of the award.

MRAM wafers and devices for the aerospace and defense industries will continue to be produced domestically in the US at Everspin PERSYST MRAM manufacturing facilities.
The Department of Defense (DoD) will continue to rely on Everspin’s MRAM production line in Chandler, Arizona, to meet its strategic and commercial space system needs going forward. $14.55 million is the total award value over a 2.5-year period.
