Infineon, EVE Energy Inks MoU To Provide Advance BMS Solutions For Auto Market

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between EVE Energy and Infineon Technologies. The two companies want to make it possible for the automotive market to have comprehensive battery management system(BMS) solutions.EVE Energy BMS gets Infineon Chipset, MOSFETs, Drivers, ICs the volt post

A whole chipset, comprising microcontroller units, balancing and monitoring integrated circuits, power management ICs, drivers, MOSFETs, controller area networks, and sensor devices, will be provided by Infineon as part of the Memorandum of Understanding.

The BMS from EVE Energy aims to offer excellent safety, high reliability, and cost optimization when outfitted with these solutions. Additionally, it enhances driving experience and energy economy and makes it possible for more precise monitoring, protection, and optimization of electric vehicle battery performance.

BMS Solutions From Infineon

For Infineon, electrification and BMS are two of its main priorities. Both wired and wireless battery management systems are part of Infineon’s comprehensive battery management system offering. AURIX, PMIC, and Balancing and Monitoring IC components, among others, form the foundation of the wired BMS solution. An ideal option for battery cell monitoring and balancing is offered by TLE9012DQU and TLE9015DQU.

Lean and economical designs may be implemented thanks to their combination of superior measurement performance, the highest quality requirements, and application durability. The ICs meet ASIL-D safety standards and are appropriate for a variety of consumer, industrial, and automotive battery applications.

On the other hand, the wireless BMS solution makes use of Infineon‘s most recent low-power CWY89829 technology to build an interconnected mesh network that guarantees optimal node connectivity while preserving sensor efficiency.

Furthermore, Infineon provides reliable LV MOSFET and EiceDRIVER solutions, such as the 2ED2410 and 2ED4820 devices, which are intended for use in future projects such electrifying 24V/48V BMS main switches.
