An important step toward improving skill development and industry readiness in India’s electronics sector has been taken with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Pamulapati Butchi Naidu College (PBN College) and the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI).
With the help of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), the partnership will launch a cutting-edge Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program that will give students real-world experience and industry-relevant skills.
The goal of this Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program is to give students useful exposure to the electronics industry while bridging the gap between academic learning and practical applications.
The curriculum will improve students’ technical competencies and make sure they are ready to meet the demands of a fast changing industry by fusing classroom learning with real-world work experience.
Saleem Ahmed, Officiating Head of ESSCI, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering a skilled workforce. He stated, “The collaboration with Pamulapati Butchi Naidu College marks a significant milestone in our mission to build a robust talent pool for the electronics industry. The Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program is an effective pathway for students to gain practical insights and technical expertise, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to the industry from day one. We are confident that this program will empower students with the skills required to thrive in an industry that is increasingly reliant on skilled professionals.”
The Memorandum of Understanding with PBN COLLEGE demonstrates ESSCI’s dedication to cultivating alliances that promote education and skill development that is in line with industry standards.
Through a smooth integration of theory and practice, the collaboration hopes to equip students with skills that will hasten their readiness for the workforce.
With this project, ESSCI and APSCHE underline their commitment to developing a workforce that is both skilled and adaptable to fulfill industry demands and ensure sustainable growth in the electronics sector.
