Eric Wendt named Vice President of Supplier Management at Mouser Electronics. Wendt will be in charge of Mouser’s large supplier network in the passive and industrial automation product categories in this executive position.
Wendt has a wealth of knowledge in the fields of industrial automation and IP&E. Before establishing and elevating DigiKey‘s industrial automation business unit, he oversaw a number of the company’s passive product lines.
In the past, he oversaw one of the most lucrative divisions for the former Kent Electronics and established a very successful contract manufacturing business that specialized in wire harnesses and control panels.
Eric Wendt initial expertise was in the technological field, where he founded and oversaw a company that focused on fast computer repair.

Eric Wendt will report directly to Newell and oversee Mouser’s growing line card of manufacturers in the product categories of industrial automation and passive components.
