Alan Mayer has been named Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Electro Rent in order to lead the company’s expansion initiatives. Alan brings a wealth of worldwide client experience to Electro Rent from both the corporate and public sectors, having worked for technology firms ranging from startups to the worldwide 500.
With 22 years of experience at Dell, Alan led teams in sales, services, and customer success to advocate for the changing requirements of customers throughout the company.
Alan Mayer joins test equipment services leader Electro Rent, leveraging a best-in-class go-to-market strategy and customer success background to drive growth.
In order to better serve partners and customers, he also oversaw the implementation of crucial products and programs for channel, distribution, and retail, as well as the global channel strategy for services.
Alan Mayer, a graduate of Arizona State University, was Senior Vice President, Partners, Alliances, and Solutions at cyber advisory and solutions company Optiv before joining Electro Rent.
