Dr. Venkata “Murthy” Renduchintala has been appointed as a non-executive director to Pragmatic Semiconductor Ltd.’s board of directors, with immediate effect. This announcement was made today.
With more than 30 years of expertise in the technology business, Murthy has a wealth of knowledge about semiconductors. He most recently held the positions of Global Group President of Intel’s Technology, Manufacturing, and Systems Architecture Group and Chief Engineering Officer at Intel Inc. for five years.
Dr. Venkata worked as the Executive Vice President and Co-President of Qualcomm Technologies and Qualcomm CDMA Technologies at Qualcomm Inc. for more than ten years before joining Intel. Prior expertise includes executive positions in technology and consumer electronics at Skyworks Inc. and Philips Electronics.
Murthy has been a member of the First Solar Inc. board of directors since May 2024, and he has been a member of the Accenture Plc. board of directors since April 2018. Murthy is a member of the Finance and Audit committees of Accenture. Murthy is the chair of the Technology committee of First Solar. Murthy was made an Honorary Professor by the University of Bradford, his former school, in 2022. He will continue to serve in these capacities in addition to his directorship at Pragmatic moving ahead.
