Diodes Incorporated announces the extension of its wildly popular DML30xx series smart load switches. The four new devices offer high-current (10.5A to 15A) power domain switching control for voltage rails from 0.5V to 20V. They are DML3008LFDS, DML3010ALFDS, DML3011ALFDS, and DML3012LDC.
The extended DML30xx series smart load switches are extremely efficient in managing every facet of power delivery to microcontrollers, graphic cards, ASICs, FPGAs, and memory chips because to their variety of embedded functionalities.
These devices offer higher power density by taking up very little space thanks to a chip-on-chip configuration that places the controller chip in each one atop a low RDS(ON) N-channel power MOSFET. They minimize operating temperature and increase dependability by maximizing thermal efficiency with their massive, bottom heat pads. Their <150mA(typ.) on-state current and 0.1mA(typ.) standby mode reduce power usage.
