The series inaugural season, sponsored by Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), centers on companies and individuals who are setting the standard for creating green technology and implementing more sustainable practices across their organizations.
“Optimizing for Sustainability,” the first episode of the Sustainable Futures Video Series, explores the tactics and technological advancements that offer the required solutions while addressing the inherent problems of promoting more sustainable manufacturing. The film also emphasizes the advantages of flexible manufacturing for efficiency and sustainability.
The second video, “Connecting Digital Signals,” examines digital connectivity and how important it is to determining how factories will be sustainable in the future. The episode emphasizes how embedded vision systems and networking enable businesses to make better judgments.
The third and final video, “Engineering a Sustainable Future,” talks on logistics technologies that could help the sector transition to a more sustainable future. These technologies include automated robotic systems, intelligent material flow, and industrial vision.
