From January 3–7, 2025, DigiKey will sponsor the Eleckart competition during the 2025 Shaastra Technical Festival in Chennai, India.
Students’ knowledge of digital electronics and their ability to solve problems with a limited number of resources will be assessed through the Eleckart event. There are two rounds of the competition.
Participants’ familiarity with using DigiKey’s Scheme-it platform to create electronic circuit diagrams will be assessed in the first round. The last round will focus on building circuits with real components while controlling the points that are subtracted from the components used. Prizes up to ?50,000 will be awarded to winners.
With competitions, lectures, demonstrations, and workshops, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) hosts the festival, which highlights science, engineering, and technology.
The Internet of Things (IoT), rocket propulsion, Arduino, CAD for industrial designs, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, and quantum computing are among the technology-related workshops that students can sign up for.
On Jan. 4, DigiKey representatives will showcase Sparkfun’s Experiential Robotics Platform (XRP) at the Eleckart event.
Students can visit the DigiKey table to discover more about the company’s widest range of technical components as well as DigiKey’s technological resources, which include design tools, PCB builders, and online conversion calculators.
