One of the top pure-play semiconductor foundries in the world, GlobalFoundries (GF) and Cyient Semiconductors signed a strategic Channel Partner Agreement. Cyient Semiconductors becomes an authorized reseller of GF’s semiconductor manufacturing technologies and services as a result of the partnership.
This partnership is an important step in increasing access to GF’s high-performance, energy-efficient process technologies and sophisticated semiconductor production capabilities. In order to speed up innovation and shorten time-to-market, Cyient Semiconductors will act as a channel partner, offering companies fabrication access, technical advice, design facilitation, assembly, testing, and other value-added services.
In addition to allowing Cyient Semiconductors to expand its position in the global semiconductor value chain, the partnership supports GF’s channel strategy to cater to high-potential but underrepresented customers.
As part of the agreement, Cyient Semiconductors will collaborate closely with GlobalFoundries to enable a smooth transition from concept to production for its emerging customers.
A dedicated team has been established to ensure efficient coordination, technical support, and service delivery.
