The 10th AMF Technology Summit and the 59th edition of the ACMA Excellence Awards honor exceptional accomplishments in sustainability, innovation, and quality in the supply chain for automotive components.

Digitalization Efforts at Gurgaon Plant
In an effort to establish a sustainable manufacturing ecosystem, Continental has embraced the automation and digitization of a variety of processes.
The organization is committed to fostering a meritocratic culture from the production line to the highest levels of management. The Continental Gurgaon Plant, a representation of a smart factory, has integrated state-of-the-art technology such as 3D printing, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and Augmented Reality (AR).
Because they facilitate the in-house production of certain spare parts, these technologies aid in quick response, minimize downtime, and lower manufacturing costs. Big data analysis, improved product quality, and automated reporting are supported by tools like MES and e-Jidoka.
The Continental Gurgaon Plant shop floor has smoothly incorporated these technologies. These developments improve operational effectiveness, guarantee adherence to quality standards, preserve accuracy and uniformity, and promote a high degree of openness throughout the production process.
