At this year’s Automechanika trade show in Frankfurt, Continental will be showcasing two major themes while showcasing its leadership on new technologies and enabling sustainability. The company’s motto will be “Shaping Tomorrow. Together!” The technology company is significantly entering new product categories and dramatically increasing the variety of original equipment products it offers. Radar and camera modules, as well as other sensors for advanced driver assistance systems(ADAS), are among the new products added to the aftermarket inventory.
When it comes to wearable parts, the goal is to maximize performance while promoting better sustainability and environmental protection. For example, the first multi V-belts that are ready for manufacturing employ recycled and renewable materials, making them a global first.
For increased sustainability, Continental during the Automechanika trade show will also highlight more product developments from its luxury brake brand, ATE. Continental will also be the first manufacturer to showcase a production tire with a significant proportion of sustainable elements in Frankfurt.
