In an effort to improve Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DE&I) internationally, Borderless.lgbt has introduced a special “Pink Plus” economy that is DE&I-focused Tech and AI. This news is made in the midst of Pride Month, a global celebration of LGBTQIA+ communities. In the center of Bangkok, Borderless.
LGBT has opened an inclusive “pink” incubator and accelerator. It collaborates with Indian startups and tech firms to create “pink” tech and AI with a DE&I focus, serving millions of LGBTQIA+ people worldwide. With an emphasis on meeting the needs of LGBTQIA+ people, this incubator seeks to promote ground-breaking innovations in technology, health and wellness, travel and hospitality, cinema, and other fields.
This program provides India’s DE&I-focused businesses and organizations with never-before-seen chances to work with Borderless.lgbt. With over 100 million LGBTQIA+ persons living in India and over 9 million in Thailand, our alliance intends to pool resources to serve over 500 million LGBTQIA+ people globally.
Thailand Privilege is a state-owned corporation that assists foreign nationals in the Kingdom with obtaining long-term visas, and it is a sponsor of the Pink Plus economy project.
Thailand has the potential to serve as a pilot center for all DE&I-focused goods and services produced between India and Thailand, given its strategic positioning as an LGBTQIA+ retirement paradise.
Dr. Wayne Ho, an HIV and LGBT medicine specialist for the AIDS Project Los Angeles and Borderless.lgbt’s clinical lead and founding stakeholder, stated, “I can’t wait to add value in driving the first-of-its-kind medical knowledge and telemedicine service delivery democratization effort in working with technology prowess from India and inclusive culture from Thailand. LGBTQIA+ startups around the world can soon tap the population of more than 200 million LGBTQIA+s in Asia.”
Apart from these efforts, since December 2022, Borderless.lgbt has been preparing international LGBTQIA+ health and wellness specialists to collaborate with regional physicians in India with the goal of localizing a new order of technology-enabled LGBTQIA+ home health services and clinics of the future.
In preparation for the upcoming LGBTQIA+ family planning policies in Thailand, Dr. Wayne Ho will collaborate with other medical experts, such as Dr. Kenneth Leong, a practicing IVF physician in Melbourne, to develop family planning counseling services via the Borderless.lgbt cloud platform.
Dr. Ho also offers knowledge support to doctors in India who are interested in the education and development of LGBT medicine globally. The lower chamber of parliament has already approved same-sex marriage, and official legalization is anticipated in the coming weeks.
