Battery Tech Europe is a new event that focuses on innovative battery applications and the growth of energy storage technologies. The newest gathering for innovation in major infrastructure and industrial battery technology is called Battery Tech Europe.
In Barcelona the following year, it will bring together Europe’s biggest companies and experts in energy storage and cutting-edge battery technology. This innovative event speeds up the shift to a more sustainable energy model and fosters technology cooperation across Europe, affirms its official release.
Battery Tech Europe inaugural event will be held at the Gran Via location in Fira de Barcelona on September 8 and 9, 2026. It will combine a significant exposition with a conference program to highlight European innovation and talk about strategies to address the industry’s problems.
In one of Europe’s most vibrant technical hubs, thousands of energy professionals, engineers, entrepreneurs, and investors engaged in the continent’s green energy revolution will come together to explore high-growth areas and the upcoming generation of battery technology.
Beyond the automotive industry, the event, which is being organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with 104-Media, will showcase innovative developments in the whole battery value chain.
Applications in long-duration energy systems, drones, railway and maritime electrification, grid-scale storage, and aerospace technology will all be covered at the new event. New materials and manufacturing techniques, energy management systems, and safety or recycling-related solutions will all be among the technologies showcased.
