The Audio Group of CUI Devices has announced the addition of tweeters to its line of speakers. The CTW family of tweeters is perfect for high frequency sound output since it has resonant frequencies between 1300 and 1700 Hz, a frequency response up to 20,000 Hz, and sound pressure levels between 81 and 89 dB measured at 1 meter and 1 W.
The tweeter variants are available with solder eyelet mounting, ferrite or neodymium magnet types, oval, rectangular, or circular frame forms, and frame sizes ranging from 30.5 x 30.5 mm to 58.8 x 58.8 mm with profiles from 13.5 to 24 mm. In addition, these tweeters include choices for paper, polyester, or silk cone types, nominal inputs of 10 or 20 W, and impedance ratings of 4, 6, or 8 ohms.
