To assess the RF performance of XR devices, Sunnyverse chooses Anritsu WLAN and Bluetooth technology measurement products.
The wireless LAN (WLAN) and Bluetooth technology RF TRx performance of Anritsu Corporation’s chosen by Zhejiang Sunnyverse Technology, a developer of XR devices, according to the company’s announcement.
The market for extended reality (XR) devices, which include augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and others, is anticipated to develop rapidly due to the devices’ anticipated applications in a wide range of industries, including entertainment. Fast data transmission rates and low visual data latency are necessary for XR devices to give users a satisfying experience.
In order to assess the RF TRx performance of the WLAN and Bluetooth technologies that impact data transfer of their XR devices, the company was searching for a test solution.
In the end, Sunnyverse chose Anritsu’s Bluetooth Test Set MT8852B and Wireless Connectivity Test Set (WLAN Tester) MT8862A. By enabling the setting of clear parameters, these devices shorten the time needed for RF TRx performance measurements, which in turn shortens a product’s time to market.
5G communication, which provides the benefits of low latency and high bandwidth, will be used by XR devices in addition to WLAN and Bluetooth technologies. To encourage the usage of XR devices, Anritsu will offer WLAN, Bluetooth, and 5G test solutions for the XR market.
