Anglia Components cautions customers in the UK and Europe who use supply chains overseas warehousing like US-Based supply chains, to be extremely cautious of serious challenges.

The carbon impact is constantly increased when parts are shipped worldwide. The two main “high service” distribution companies, or “self service” as John Bowman, Anglia’s marketing director, calls them, both ship only from central USA locations.

Compared to delivering the identical items from the US, Anglia’s UK distribution center in Wisbech emits seven times less CO2 when shipping to customers in the UK or continental Europe.

According to its official press release, Anglia affirms that the company takes a more thorough approach. To protect against price changes brought on by tariffs or exchange rate variations, orders might be placed.

In addition to giving us an advantage over many of our rivals, having a distribution and logistics center in the UK also solves the sustainability issue and guarantees that products are accessible for quick one- or two-day delivery.

FedEx ships parts to customers in the EU with Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Orders placed up until 17:00 (CET) Monday through Thursday are shipped the same day, and invoices are available in a variety of currencies.

Orders above €50/$60 qualify for free DDP delivery, and there is no minimum order amount.

Adds Bowman: “We are big enough to offer the best logistics practices, but not so corporate that we forget about true customer service and what UK and EU customers really need”
