With the opening of a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad, India, Cyient announced the growth of its collaboration with Allegro MicroSystems, Inc.
The CoE, which is housed within Cyient’s Manikonda Campus, will concentrate on creating power semiconductor and next-generation magnetic sensor solutions for the automotive sector.
Max Glover, Senior Vice President WW Sales, Allegro, and Suman Narayan, Senior Vice President, Products, Allegro, were present when Allegro President & CEO Vineet Nargolwala officially opened the state-of-the-art facility.
Allegro sensor and power integrated circuit (IC) product portfolios, which are critical parts of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), electric vehicles, and other automotive applications, will be developed more quickly in the large part of the CoE.
Allegro MicroSystems hopes to launch breakthrough products more quickly and effectively by utilizing Cyient’s experience in India.
Key market trends that will be addressed by the partnership include the growing need for magnetic sensors in electric cars, the emergence of high-power technologies like SiC and GaN, and the growing significance of embedded systems and platforms.
For both companies, this partnership represents a major turning point that reaffirms their dedication to advancing innovation in the automotive semiconductor industry.
