The ACS37030MY and ACS37220MZ are two new current sensor ICs that Allegro MicroSystems has announced will be available. These ICs offer low internal conductor resistance, high operating bandwidth, and reliable performance in a variety of automotive, industrial, and consumer applications by utilizing Allegro’s state-of-the-art sensing technology.
Allegro’s New Current Sensor ICs Are Designed:

For the protection of wide bandgap GaN devices, the ACS37030MY is a fully integrated current sensor integrated circuit with the quickest response time in the market. It senses current across a broad frequency range by combining signal channels from inductive coils and Hall-effect. This creative package offering makes it possible to create a product that is 40% smaller and five times faster than current solutions.
A narrow-body package of the ACS37030 is also offered for those with less isolation needs. The fully integrated Hall-effect current sensor ACS37220MZ has a fault pin and a bandwidth of 150 kHz. This device is a replacement for the well-liked ACS724/5 family of products and is intended for value-line current sensing applications.
For reduced power dissipation, the new ACS37220MZ package offers a 40% smaller solution size and lower resistance.
