Yokogawa India Announces New Managing Director

With effect from September 2025, Albert Devadasan has been named Yokogawa India Limited’s Managing Director. He will be in charge of advancing the company’s expansion plan, enhancing relationships with customers, and directing its upcoming innovative phase across Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka in this capacity.

Having worked in the automation and control sector for over 35 years, he has established a stellar career at Yokogawa, where he has held executive roles in business development, operations, and strategic planning. He has made contributions to systems engineering, project management, customer success, and sustainability-related projects, among other areas of the company.

Mr. Albert Devadasan most recently held the twin position of Executive Vice President – Energy & Sustainability for Yokogawa Middle East & Africa B.S.C. and the position of Sales & Marketing for Yokogawa Saudi Arabia. His history demonstrates a solid technical background along with a strong dedication to fostering local talent and gaining the trust of clients.

In his capacity as Managing Director, Devadasan will be in charge of all facets of Yokogawa India’s business operations, including cooperation with Yokogawa’s worldwide network, organizational development, and customer engagement. His hiring demonstrates the company’s dedication to provide cutting-edge technology and environmentally friendly solutions to aid India’s economic development.

Mr. Albert Devadasan, a B.Tech graduate of M.I.T., Anna University, Chennai, has played a key role in spearheading initiatives in the fields of industrial autonomy, energy efficiency, and digital transformation—all of which are strongly related to Yokogawa’s Purpose, which reads, “Utilizing our ability to measure and connect, we fulfill our responsibilities for the future of our planet.”
