Airtel with IntelliSmart Infrastructure to offer end-to-end IoT solution for smart metering including Head end system, Meter data management system, Cloud and Analytics.
Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”) collaborates to deliver smart meters with IntelliSmart Infrastructure Private Limited. Touted to be the largest deal in the smart meter space, Airtel Business with IntelliSmart Infrastructure aims to integrate up to 20 million smart meters.
This smart meter integration announcement of Airtel Business also marks the telecommunication giant’s entry into high-end applications – Advance metering infrastructure and meter data management systems along with Cloud and Analytics.
These smart meters will be powered by Airtel’s proprietary platform the “Airtel IoT Hub”. The Airtel IoT Hub helps the utility track and monitor these smart meters with advanced analytics while maintaining extremely high reliability augmented with telco-grade security.
