AIonOS, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison G2G MoU To Nudge AI Future of Indonesia

AIonOS and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) have signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to transform Indonesia’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem.

This ecosystem-front partnership is known to be a part of a historic partnership under the visionary Government-to-Government (G2G) initiative between India and Indonesia.

The Memorandum of Understanding is the first significant AI-focused collaboration between the two countries and signifies a mutual commitment to utilizing AI’s potential to spur innovation, economic expansion, and social change.

Indosat is the top telecommunications provider in Indonesia, empowering its citizens, and AIonOS, a joint venture between InterGlobe and Assago Group, is committed to transforming businesses into AI-led enterprises.

The partnership revolves around AI³ (AI for Indonesia and India powered by Indosat and AIonOS), a common goal based on Indosat’s in-depth knowledge of regional requirements and difficulties and utilizing AIonOS’ cutting-edge AI capabilities.

AI³ aspires to build revolutionary solutions, notably in areas like tourism, knowledge economy, and sustainable agriculture, pushing ideas that can redefine the country’s digital economy and boost its worldwide competitiveness. 

Strategic Pillars of AI³ are:

  1. Transforming Indonesia’s Travel Economy: By encouraging a variety of local experiences and enhancing connection, AI³ seeks to increase Indonesia’s travel industry’s GDP contribution. In addition to increasing income prospects for nearby companies, this project seeks to sustainably incorporate Indonesia’s rich cultural legacy with international tourism networks.
  1. Cultivating a knowledge economy: Working with leading educational institutions in India and Indonesia, AI³ is poised to create a workforce equipped with AI skills, ready to advance the knowledge-based economy and solidify Indonesia’s position as a leader in the global arena.

This historic Memorandum of Understanding between AIonOS and Indosat also establishes a standard for global tech diplomacy and demonstrates how cross-border cooperation may promote wealth for all.
