Acutaas Advance Material Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Acutaas Chemicals Limited has acquired a 75% controlling stake in South Korea-based Indichem Inc., bolstering its position in the global semiconductor specialty chemicals market.

The deal strengthens Acutaas’s semiconductor chemicals lineup by snapping up 300,000 shares in Indichem, a joint venture approved by regulators in both India and South Korea. The transaction was completed at a par value of KRW 500 per share plus premium.
Indichem specializes in manufacturing specialty chemicals for the semiconductor industry, serving customers in South Korea and worldwide. Its new manufacturing plant in South Korea is under construction and expected to be operational by the end of this year.
The company is positioning itself in high-growth areas like semiconductor supply chains, leveraging regulatory approvals from India and South Korea to serve global chipmakers amid rising demand for specialty materials.
Its growth strategy emphasizes self-sustaining verticals in battery and semiconductor chemicals, backed by the parent’s tech-driven approach.
