The new AOTA Series mini-moulded inductors from Abracon are now available from element14. Abracon has extended its moulded inductor technology into the domain of sub-3mm inductors, which, despite their small size, give the same remarkable performance as their larger counterparts, building upon the success and benefits of its traditional moulded inductors.
The US-based company keeps offering solutions that satisfy the changing demands of the electronics industry by transferring the power of their molded inductor technology to smaller package sizes.
For instance, IoT, machine-to-machine, secure vehicle access, item tracking, indoor navigation, and other linked applications are well suited for AOTA Series. They offer better performance at a lower cost in a smaller package than conventional resin-shielded or multi-layer inductors, making them an excellent substitute.
To accommodate small and low-profile designs, the AOTA Series inductors are offered starting at element 14 in package sizes ranging from 1.4mm x 1.2mm to 2.5mm x 2.0mm, with a maximum height as low as 0.65mm.
They can meet large power loads and high-power density needs with inductance values ranging from.11 to 10 µH, low DCR, minimal core losses, and saturation current up to 14.5 amps.
