5G–6G Wireless Center of Excellence (CoE) Launched!

An innovative 5G–6G Wireless Center of Excellence (CoE) has been launched, according to Altair and L&T Technology Services. In order to solve current industry issues such as poor connection, high operating costs, and shorter innovation cycles for applications in sectors like tech and mobility, the CoE will leverage the promise of 5G and 6G networks. 5G–6G Wireless CoE by Altair, L&T Technology Services the volt Post

The CoE will incubate products and applications that span the industries of telecommunications, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, and more by fusing LTTS’ domain knowledge in end-to-end product development and technology services with Altair’s top-notch  simulation and design.

The CoE will concentrate on a variety of projects to equip companies with wireless solutions, including use cases such:

  • 5G/6G network planning to optimize public and private wireless networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and future-ready infrastructure
  • 6G Reflective Intelligent Surfaces and RF Design and Development
  • Enhancements to wireless connectivity for applications in smart factories, connected vehicles, healthcare (remote monitoring), manufacturing (automated systems)
  • Connected mobility and network failure predictions
  • Developing digital twins for 5G and 6G networks to enable real-time simulations and enhanced performance, benefitting multiple industries

While digital twins offer real-time, virtual models to anticipate problems, optimize performance, and motivate proactive decisions, 5G and 6G networks offer lightning-fast speeds, low latency, and unparalleled scalability. When combined, they give companies the opportunity to increase operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and strengthen network reliability.

LTTS won the 2025 Altair Channel Partner Awards’ Partner of the Year Award for its innovative work in simulation, predictive analytics, and real-time data integration using digital twin technology.

The Altair® HyperWorks® and Altair® RapidMiner® systems will power the use cases in the CoE. In order to assist companies in adopting and modifying wireless technologies to meet their particular needs, the Center will also provide workshops, collaborative spaces, and practical training. All things considered, the CoE will make it possible to build more intelligent infrastructure, promote more effective operations, and improve decision-making.
