The 2025 Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition (OFC), which will take place from April 1–3 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, will feature VIAVI Solutions’ most recent test solutions for AI infrastructure research, production, and deployment.
VIAVI’s booth 2319 will debut three new products that facilitate the shift to next-generation AI infrastructure:
- The new mFVU-3000 FlexLight dual-objective connector microscope from VIAVI offers a 30X wide field of view, 400X high-resolution magnification, improved imaging speed, and sophisticated imaging control and visualization.
- Test periods are shortened by completely automatic inspection capabilities and simplified setup using magnetic quick-connect adapters with auto ID.
- The mFVU-3000 contributes to a decrease in test failures and an increase in yield by reducing contamination throughout the production process.
With its extensive test capability, integrated advice, and automated configuration, the 800G Transport Module enhances VIAVI’s industry-leading OneAdvisor 800 platform and assists field personnel in installing and maintaining high-capacity networks up to 800G while they are on the go.
The INX 660 probe microscope, which VIAVI released after the INX 760 proved successful, guarantees flawless single fiber connections through an easy, automated inspection procedure.
Additional Demonstrations Include:
1.6T Development Testing and Validation: Early deployment of VIAVI’s award-winning ONE LabPro multiport Ethernet performance test system demonstrates the viability of 1.6Tb/s technology, with a path to large-scale deployment over the next few years.
Solutions for AI Infrastructure Manufacturing: At OFC 2025, VIAVI will highlight its comprehensive solutions for the R&D qualification and volume production of optical network component and connectivity using the multi-user, multi-function MAP-300 test system.
Solutions for AI Infrastructure Deployment: VIAVI will be showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of field test solutions for fiber construction and maintenance, remote fiber test and monitoring, dense fiber testing inside data centers, and high-speed metro and automated network test. Solutions that guarantee and protect DCI, including the NITRO Fiber Sensing, FiberComplete PRO and Test Process Automation (TPA), will also be on display.
Additionally, in Samtec’s booth 5863, VIAVI, Samtec, and Rambus will demonstrate PCIe/CXL traffic over optics. In booth 3524, VIAVI and Nubis Communications will showcase the FLIT mode protocol and PCIe 6.0 link up over Unretimed Optics for low-latency link extension.
VIAVI will conduct a training on optical fiber sensing technologies and principles on Monday, March 31 from 1:30 to 5:30 PM PT. The course will cover the related specialty fiber kinds and components needed for their system integration.
On Wednesday, April 2 from 3:30 – 3:40 PM PT in Theatre III, VIAVI will join a Lightwave panel discussion on how AI creates new opportunities in the optical networking market.
VIAVI has won two 2025 Lightwave Innovation Reviews awards in the lab/production test equipment category for its FVAM-2000 tabletop microscope and ONE LabPro ONE-1600 1.6T test module for the ninth consecutive year.
